Dr. Gordon Menzies (DipEd (UNE), BEc (Hons) (UNE), MEc (ANU), DPhil (Oxford)) is a prize-winning researcher and teacher.
He undertook doctoral studies in economics at Oxford University over 1998-2001, supported by a Commonwealth Scholarship. He is joint-winner of the Arrow Senior Prize for subsequent research on belief formation in financial markets. He holds an academic position at the University of Technology Sydney, where he won the university-wide teaching award.
He has returned to Oxford a number of times, recently being a visitor and invited speaker at the Institute of New Economic Thinking. His ambition is to re-humanize economics, and he chairs an international group of thinkers dedicated to that end.
